Copperhead Lodge & Resort

We are in the middle of a weekend trip to Copperhead Lodge in Blairsville, Ga. We are so impressed with this place I had to write a review immediately. The setting is tranquil and serene. At night it is so quiet. Our Lodge room is very clean and nicely decorated. You have a separate entrance from an outside walkway with two rocking chairs under a covered porch. Your view is unbelievable! You overlook a beautiful babbling creek. A quick walk upstairs and you are at the on property restaurant, The Flying Trout. Lunch for us was the calamari and it was some of the best we have had. It was crunchy but very tender and a yummy dipping sauce. We went back for Dinner and had the Fish and Chips with Winder fries. Again, a perfectly cooked, delicious meal. Our service for both meals was impeccably delivered. Thank you Kota!!! We sat at the bar and watched the lunch and dinner staff hustle with great enthusiasm. I cannot say enough positive things about all of them but especially Kota. I hesitate to write so many positive accolades for fear it will become constantly booked but this wonderful staff of both the lodge and restaurant deserve their due.

As for our stay at the lodge, it really is less like a hotel, and more like a relative's home; it's really that welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean and had all the comforts one would expect. The cherry on top was the very reasonable nightly rate. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for cozy stay in the area. Many thanks to Denise for allowing us to check in early after a crazy downpour at our campsite in the early morning of our arrival date. She really provided exceptional service to my wife and I. Service like this is what creates repeat customers! Hope to return again one day.

This was in a great location and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The rooms are very simple. Everything was very clean and a great value for this area. We were informed about the noise from the restaurant upstairs when we checked in and as promised it got very quiet at the 9pm closing time. We would definitely stay here again.

A really nice place to stay! We stayed in one of the cabins which was also pet-friendly. The cabin was clean and mostly comfortable except for the couch which could use an upgrade. The staff was super friendly and helpful at the time of booking, making changes and accommodating any requests upon arrival. The food at Flying Trout was fresh and tasty! There also is a small retail store, it would have been nice to have snacks and beverages for sale. Overall it was a great price and met our needs for a last minute booking.

Super cute place. We stayed in the lodge. Room was comfortable, clean, and everyone was very friendly. We ate at the on site restaurant every night. 2 of my selections were not available- chicken & waffles and sweet potato gnocchi, but other than that food was good and service was too. Would highly recommend this place.

This place is awesome!! For sure our new yearly anniversary weekend spot! Customer service was the best I've ever seen. Everything about this place and the restaurant was top knotch! For a great place to get away I highly recommend you go grab a cabin and eat amazing food at there restaurant. you won't be disappointed. Thank you ladies for a wonderful anniversary weekend can't wait to see you all again!

I rented a cabin for one night while traveling through GA. When I arrived they told me they had moved me to a larger more private cabin. My cabin #5 was decorated in bear decor and was super clean! Had a hot tub and several outdoor seating areas. I would stay here again. The Flying Trout restaurant in the Lodge was beautiful and had the best meal so far this year. Highly recommend!!!!

10/10 Highly recommend!!! Make sure you contact the actual resort and don't make the same mistake I did by going through a booking company. Ms. Denise and Ms. Joann and Mr. Jack were so sweet and such a pleasure to meet. The cabin was perfect and hot tub was absolutely wonderful! We will absolutely be back soon!
